«During a year, I was looking for opportunities to establish Lenin monument on a voluntary basis. The secretary of the district committee of the Proletarsky district, a very significant person, guaranteed me to receive a large studio. He wanted to have a Lenin monument, I wanted a studio for work. In Soviet time who did Lenin was allowed everything, I could get all floor, a whole house. I found out a studio - first floor of the house in Moscow on Mayakovsky lane, 13. And this place by the order of the secretary of the district committee was given to the Moscow Union of Artists. And still you can see The Lenin monument in front of the building of the Prefecture of the Southern Administrative District of the city of Moscow».
