Description
The fairy-tale character Alyonushka and the story about her brother Ivanushka are known to us from an early age. The Tretyakov Gallery exhibits the famous painting by V.M. Vasnetsova "Alyonushka", Alyonka looks at us with tremendous eyes from a wrapper on a chocolate bar. Cartoons and films with Alyonka are countless. The sculptor Kazantsev calls his youngest daughter Elena, affectionately - Alyona.
In 2016, Sergey Kazantsev turned to the image of a character native to Russian culture. When the sculpture was ready, the owners of Millennium Park in New Riga liked it and decided to put a concrete copy in their park near one of the pond.
